New Opportunity for Growth

The Transformation Team is excited to announce that we have a new opportunity for you to grow in 2008. Our church now has a subscription to CCN (Church Communications Network), which will allow us to to grow closer to Christ outside "normal" means of Sunday School, small groups, and worship services. We will now have the chance to get different speakers from all over the US right here in our church via satellite. Each month, the CCN service will be installed in our church so you can watch a teaching on your own, as a family, as a team, as a small group, or you can join us for larger gatherings.

Radiate is a place for you and your friends to experience something a little bit different in life. We focus our discussions, teachings, and worship (led by M.S. & H.S. students) around the idea that Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you! Besides that, we have a great time playing games and eating good food. We believe church can be fun so come check us out any time!
Middle School Radiate— Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM (during AWANA)
High School Radiate— Sunday nights from 6:30-8:15 PM
** M.S. & H.S. will meet together starting in June for the summer on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM.

AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed

Awana is a club for boys and girls that meets once a week. The purpose is to
teach them about Jesus Christ and the Bible.
The night is divided into three, thirty-minute segments: council time (awards, singing and
object lessons), handbook time (studying Scripture and Bible truths from an easy to read handbook), and game time (a fun game circle divided into four teams of enthusiastic competition).
The club is open to children between four years old thru 6th grade.
Steamboat Rock Baptist Church has had AWANA since 1988 and invites you to come along and join the fun.
We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 pm and dismiss at 8 pm.
