Solid Rock Men’s Fellowship

A new men’s ministry opportunity is happening this fall at Steamboat Rock Baptist Church called Solid Rock Men’s Fellowship.  The name and purpose of this opportunity comes from Matthew 7:24.  “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

We invite you to join us for Faith, Food, & Fellowship on the 1st and 3rd Fridays in October (6, 20), November (3,17), & December (1,15) in the Steamboat Rock Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 6:30 to 7:15 AM.  The coffee will be brewed and breakfast will be served.  Bring a friend or colleague, and come when you can.  Whether you can only come once, a few times, or all six times, we hope you take advantage of this opportunity to connect and grow.

This fall we will be focused on praying about, discussing, & applying the 5 commands that can guide, strengthen, & encourage us as godly men found in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.  The 5 commands given by the Apostle Paul to the Corinthian Church over 2,000 years ago are still relevant to us today in the 21st Century Church.  Each week we will focus on 1 of the 5 commands:  be on guard, stand firm in the faith, be men of courage, be strong, and do everything in love.  

We have a mission here at Steamboat Rock Baptist Church of Encouraging Everyone to Follow Jesus...Further!  Two ways we do that is through Connecting with Jesus and His Church, and by Growing more like Jesus in Faith and Character.  We prayerfully hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to Connect and Grow as godly men and live out the mission of our church here at Steamboat Rock Baptist Church.
