Summer Missionary Visits to Steamboat Rock Baptist Church

Our church has the privilege to receive visits from several of our missionaries this summer!

They include:

·         Sunday, June 30th:  Alan and Judy Steier - missionaries with Barnabas International. They will present briefly during both of our Sunday morning services.

·         Sunday, July 7th:  Lyndell and Paulo Campbell-Requia* – missionaries in Brazil with the North American Baptist Conference. They will present briefly during both of our Sunday morning services and during the Pathways class at 9:30 a.m.

·         Sunday, July 7th:  Laci Daroczi-Csuhai – missionary in Hungary with the North American Baptist Conference. He will present briefly during both of our Sunday morning services and during the Pathways class at 9:30 a.m.

·         Sunday, August 11th:  A representative from the Lighthouse Center for Hope in Iowa Falls will present briefly during both Sunday services. Our church has supported this ministry to pregnant women and new mothers in crisis for many years.

Please make a note of these visits and plan to attend the Sunday services and Pathways classes to hear these in-person updates by our “global partners” on their ministries locally and abroad.

Lyndell/Paulo Campbell-Requia, and Laci Daroczi-Csuhai will need housing and meals. Laci will need airport transportation from the Des Moines airport on July 5th. Please contact Joan Blair at blairhouse5@msn.com if you can help meet these needs the weekend of July 5-9 when they will visit. Hosting them in your home for a meal, overnight, or taking them out for dinner are all appreciated. You and your families will be blessed if you do!

*Note:  Due to the historic flooding in Brazil, there is a possibility that Lyndell and Paulo will not be able to visit the United States (and our church) this summer. Their visit will be finalized later this summer.
